November, November
Despite the fact that winter is feasting on the last hours of daylight, and that the weather is getting colder every day, I sort of like November. Give it another month and I'll be sick and tired of the cold, but so far it's okay. It is nice waking up to a frosty world and the other day it even snowed. Rainy days are not as fun - of course - but even those can be quite nice. Today Lina and I took a walk into town and escaped the showers under our umbrellas :-)
Christmas has already moved in to most stores and the commercials are filled with the ten million things you should get your friend/mother/cousin/son/husband to show them your love and devotion. I get tired even thinking about it. The worst thing about Christmas is the gifts. Here's a suggestion to an over materialistic world: show people your affection in other ways than buying them stuff they don't need.
