Helsingør
On Wednesday, mom and I went to Helsingör (Helsingør in Danish), a small picturesque Danish town, just across the sound from us.

We ate picnic-lunch outside of Kronborg Castle, overlooking Oresund; on the other side of the water you see Sweden and Helsingborg.

We also visited Kronborg Castle, the setting of William Shakespeare's famous tragedy Hamlet.

So far it's not been a great summer for sailors. Most sailboats in the harbor were laying still.

Strolling around the streets of Helsingör.

The oldest parts of town.

Back on Swedish land, in Helsingborg and the harbor there.
